“Cannot recommend them enough! 10/10 So welcoming, and despite being super busy we were able to wait inside for a table to become available. We waited about 15-20 minutes which is normal for a place as popular as this! I ordered the prawn crackers and crispy squid as a starter, unfortunately I ate it far too quickly to add any pictures. The squid was lightly battered, and served with a mint and lime dip. Truly delicious! The dish pictured was the main dish from the Stir Fry menu. Tofu with onion, peppers and aubergine. I chose to pair it with egg fried rice. Great portion size, enough for two or like me, to take home! Food was definitely 10/10 The service was great, and very personable. Everyone was so nice, friendly and helpful. Se you next time!”
“As a huge fan of Vietnamese food, I wanted try GP especially after seeing all the great reviews. I went around late afternoon on a Saturday and it was empty which meant my food came very quickly. I ordered the salt and pepper wings, salt and pepper squid and the Vietnamese friend rice. Wings and squid could have done with a little more seasoning and the sausage & meat pieces in the fried rice weren’t to my liking. Service was great and someone was always near enough to spot if you needed something.”
“I had only Xi’an dishes of Cumin Beef & Mount Qi Pork Noodle so can’t comment on the Vietnamese offerings. Both dishes were reasonably good although both could have definitely had a bit more kick to the spice & Sichuan peppers. The noodles seemed to be an udon type rather than the proper fresh hand pulled version that you often find in other Xi’an restaurants. My friend had the lemongrass pork which they liked. Portion sizes were average. Service was pretty quick & efficient.”
“AMAZING FOOD. A group of us practically ordered all the starters. From the soft shell crab to the deep fried Aubergines, everything was delicious. I ordered some extra prawn summer rolls to take home. Fresh flavoured food. Lovely staff. 100% recommended and will be back VERY soon :)”
“Lovely restaurant serving delicious food. Generous portions, beautifully presented. Vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff and swift service.”
